1959 June 30. To Robert M. Ancell, Jr., Albuquerque, N.M. In full:
"I am sending under separate cover (not included) our reprint on the
synthesis of D-L cystine. I am sorry that we do not have sufficient reprints
available to send you a complete set. Any of the large supply houses such as
Fisher, Thomas, etc., can usually arrange to supply organic chemical
compounds." Vincent duVigneaud (1901-1978) won the 1955 Nobel Prize in
Chemistry "for his work on biochemically important sulphur compounds, especially
for the first synthesis of a polypeptide hormone". Lightly creased. Fine
condition.
